StART Young

StART Young is a FREE summer performing arts program during the first 3 weeks of July in Washington Heights at the Northern Manhattan Artist Alliance (NoMAA) at the United Palace and is for students in grades 3 - 11. There are three cohorts of up to 25 participants in each:

  • Elementary - Grades 3-5

  • Middle - Grades 6-8

  • High - Grades 9-11

The sessions all run concurrently and culminate in a final performance that is fully written and created by the students and is FREE and open to the public.

Many StART Young graduates go on to participate in our StART Dreaming College Readiness Program.
